About us

Evolution built on precision. Meet RAO.

We are a team of specialists combining rope access with rigging and heavy lift support. We solve difficult technical problems in the wind and offshore sectors, where standard methods fall short.

A partner for leaders in the energy sector

Since 2011 we have grown from a rope access contractor into an operational partner for heavy lift and energy companies. We deliver projects in Poland, across the European Union and beyond.

Our reach

We work worldwide

We have delivered projects in Poland, Germany, Denmark and the North Sea, as well as outside Europe. Every pin marks a project our technicians worked on.

What sets us apart

Why RAO?

We don't follow the beaten path. We engineer solutions. We deliver more than rope access - RAO is a technical partnership that turns complex challenges at height and at sea into safe, measurable operations.

We treat every project as an engineering task. We look for well-thought-out solutions that optimise the client's budget and shorten asset downtime.

The marine environment does not forgive mistakes. Our work culture is driven by the highest HSE standards and full transparency in reporting. We have been working offshore since 2015.

We combine unique skills. Our team includes composite specialists, mechanics and certified riggers. We work on ropes and from platforms, taking full responsibility for every project we are entrusted with.

Wind turbine service

Inspections of blades, bolts, welds and ladders, surface and structural blade repairs, restoration of damaged surfaces and component replacement.

Installation and rigging

Installation of structures, pipes and valves, transport with chain hoists, crane operations and preparation of transport plans (Lifting Plan).

Other technical works

Installation works, rescue cover, confined space work, corrosion protection, non-destructive testing (NDT) and welding.

Training

Training in wind turbine evacuation, safe work at height and rope access techniques.

Major Component Replacement

RAO supported the replacement of five generators and one wind turbine blade at an offshore wind farm, carried out for DWT. We provided experienced riggers to join the team working in the upper section of the turbine. Our specialists were directly involved in component replacement, equipment preparation and positioning, lifting operations, as well as the loading and organisation of equipment on board the vessel.Zobacz case study

Commissioning of Overhead Cranes for an EAF Furnace

RAO supported the Felbermayr Deutschland GmbH team during the commissioning of two overhead cranes for the new EAF at the Greentec Steel facility in Linz. Our team assembled the lifting structure, prepared the rigging equipment, positioned components, and dismantled the equipment upon completion of the work. The operation involved a scrap charging crane with a rated lifting capacity of 450 t, load-tested at 565 t during the official AMVO inspection, and a molten metal handling crane with a lifting capacity of 265 t.Zobacz case study

Wind Turbine Blade Transport

RAO built an auxiliary structure for NMT to support the transport of wind turbine blades in Martinique. Part of the structure was assembled onshore, lowered into the sea, and completed in the water. Our team supported the lifting operation and coordinated activities with the other crews involved. Once the blades had been transported, RAO recovered and dismantled the structure. The work was carried out under the technical supervision of Saetech B.V.Zobacz case study
